The duplex printing pricing still needs to be settled. ITS has set the charge at .15 for right now but has told me that the charge can be reduced to .10 for both single-sided and duplex, if approved at the Administrative Level. Jeff B. wasn't too hopeful about a HASCS match (.5) for single sided, however.
Lynn S. warns that duplex printing is likely to increase the frequency of paper jams. We should watch for this and start to document it, in case we need to get ITS to triage as the semester wears on.
Jeff commented that "we're not advertising" duplex printing -- just if somebody asks." That is, I assume, while we decide on price and give it a try. It's certainly not the policy Reference wants to adopt once classes start (I hope!).
