New PIN System and Harvard IDs

Users should only enter the first eight digits of their Harvard ID when they're logging in to the PIN system. The new PIN system will accept nine digits if they are entered, but this generates an error. (The 9th digit indicates the number of times that an ID has been lost and replaced.) Also, you may be prompted to change your password if it does not conform to the new standard enacted with this system.
