Hi All,
It seems that crunch time has started! I had a number of 1-5 minute info requests and even a 10 minute search for a book that was supposed to be in the Farnsworth room but was actually in the regular stacks.
Just wondering how often circulation (or somebody else) checks to make sure that books are in order / their appropriate place. There have been a number of people who had trouble finding books because they were displaced (as in the example above or even just a few rows out of place).
Lastly, people are clamoring for the Poetry Room to be open for longer hours. To whom should they direct their requests / suggestions?
Thanks so much!

Nneka -- Thanks for this write up of your night. I suspect that pre-holiday raiding of the stacks is probably responsible for the disarray you encountered on Sunday -- I'll let Access Services know.
The Poetry Room continues to be an issue; just this evening (Monday), I had yet another request for an item that only the room's part-time curator can give access to.
I'll find out how we should be capturing this information (and where to send comments about the Poetry Room's curtailed hours/services).
