Online access to the History Cooperative journals has now been restored.

OIS reports our access to the History Cooperative journals has been restored. It may have been a problem with a lapsed subscription.

I reported the problem (at Sue's urging) to the e-Research "Comment" feature three weeks ago.

This is what happened (quoting myself):

"I was denied online access to Western Historical Quarterly for Autumn 2005. JSTOR has earlier issues. Recent only available through History Cooperative. There is a link from Citation Linker to this site, but you can only get the abstract. You need a logon to see whole article. just confirming that this is right and Harvard doesn't subscribe, despite the link."

MORAL: If it looks weird, you should report it! I assumed that I was being passed through to a resource to which Harvard did not have full access for some reason.
