RefWorks Write-N-Cite in Word 2007

Write-N-Cite is a plug-in application for Microsoft Word which enables RefWorks users to insert citations in their papers and format them correctly. In older versions of Word, the Write-N-Cite icon is immediately visible on the toolbar. But to find Write-N-Cite in Word 2007, you must click on the Add-Ins tab above the ribbon:

Then click on the Write-N-Cite link:

This will open a Write-N-Cite window with the references from the user's personal database. For more information about using Write-N-Cite, see the Harvard Libraries' Citation Tools iSite.

Lexis-Nexis Direct Export to RefWorks

The new Lexis-Nexis interface allows you to export article citations directly to RefWorks. However, only Lexis-Nexis Academic has the new interface. From all other Lexis-Nexis Products (Congressional, Statistical, State Capital, Primary Sources, Government Periodicals), citations must be entered manually. See the instructions on the Citation Tools iSite.
