Visualizing data: 2 mapping resources

WorldMapper: a collection of world maps, each of which resizes territories according to the subject of interest. More than 600 maps are already in this database and it continues to grow.

Show World: a resource similar to World Mapper, but with the added feature of animation. Online maps illustrate various census and world statistics from various non-governmental organizations by morphing the size of countries accordingly. Instead of land mass, the size of each country represents the data for that subject, both its share of the total and absolute value.
