Social Tagging on the Radio

David Weinberger, fellow at the Berkman Center and author of the new book Everything is Miscellaneous, was the featured guest tonight on WGBH radio's "Open Source." With host Christopher Lydon and other guests including librarian Karen Schneider, Weinberger talked about the new world of social tagging. You can listen to the program at the Open Source website.

And beyond social tagging, there's social chatting. Another local public radio show, WBUR's "On Point," examines "The World According to Twitter."

I don't have very high hopes for Twitter -- at least as I see it being used currently. Perhaps the radio program will convince me otherwise! I'll have a listen.

Also: I'd ordered a copy of the Weinberger book a few weeks ago for the collection.
